The Association of Austrians (VÖT) is a platform for networking. Our members have been meeting for more than 20 years at various events in Prague. Everyone who has a relationship with Austria and speaks German is welcome. We are an association that connects.

About us

The Association was formally established in 1994. The current president is Dr Erwin Hanslik. Currently, the Association has some 250 members. The Association’s history has been formed by the a succession of events which are either singular or recurrent.

Stammtisch

Restaurant Sněmovna, Jakubská 5, Prague 1

Every first Tuesday of the month from 7.00 pm

We have been meeting at the Stammtisch for more than 20 years in Prague which is organised every first Tuesday of the month. The Stammtisch is organised in cooperation with the Business Department of the Austrian Embassy, Advantage Austria. Come and enjoy lovely environment with a great view of Prague. Everyone is welcome. Reservations are not necessary.

Austrian Ball

Our elegant Austrian Ball is a culmination of the ball season. The Ball is organised in the magnificent Palace Žofín. Since 2001, we dance on Slovansky island under the baton of Viennese ball tradition. Every year, the Ball becomes more popular.
